Family News – February, 2014
Dear Ones,
I’ve got a special treat for you this month! I’ve asked our dear Brother Timothy to share with you all that our Heavenly Father has been doing in our midst among the FMM family abroad. Each month, you get a little glimpse based on the emails we’ve received but this month, you also get a ‘front row seat’ as we rejoice in what is clearly a mighty work of God. He told us in His word that:
“Since ancient times no one has heard, no ear has perceived, no eye has seen any God besides you, who acts on behalf of those who wait for him.” (Isaiah 64:4) and:
“However, as it is written: “What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived”— the things God has prepared for those who love him— these are the things God has revealed to us by his Spirit. The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God.” (I Corinthians 2:9-10)
And as you read, I’m sure that you too will have your “awe factor” increased just like we have here in Omaha. There’s no way any one of us could have ever imagined all that the Lord wanted to do in us and through us… and all we had to do to usher it in is to believe Him, take Him at His Word and walk in the Truth as He has revealed it.
In the church I first attended after being saved, our Senior Pastor was fond of saying, “The best is yet to come!” And you know what? I think he was right! So ‘fasten your seat belts’ and prepare to be even more amazed at what God is doing around the world… all because some disciples said “Yes” when He singled them out and said, “Come, follow Me.”

Dear beloved Nancy,
On behalf of Follow-me-ministry/Adat HaTikvat Tzion families of Africa, thank you for praying for us for our continued strength, wisdom and team unity that we would truly have the heart of the Father for the people and to be all that we need to be! Yes, and to have the eyes of Yeshua in all we do.
The loneliness and lack of peace and God’s knowledge I have been experiencing before God brought us on to your way. It has been replaced by knowing you and we are always thankful to God who connected Dad and Rav Nate into our lives. Yes! They are wonderful friends!
On behalf of FMM/AHTZ Africa, I want to say hello to our brothers and sisters in AHTZ. We appreciate your kindness to us and deeply desire to continue grow together in Messiah. Therefore, we are unable to express our innermost thoughts towards your total sacrifice that has transformed millions of lives here in Africa. Whether we live or die, we know we have eternal life in Him and through Him. This has been a precious and fulfilling relationship with dear Yeshua. I thank Him so much for you and His faithfulness in answering our prayers.
We have many reasons to thank God for Rav Nate (AHTZ) Congregation and Dad John (FMM). Together they have helped us to print and distribute God’s teachings that have transformed lives in the world. I will soon send you testimonies with pictures from the lives of those helped through your efforts. First, we love to thank once more Dad John with FMM family who encouraged the need of having the main headquarter office at _____ when this vision was shared to him.
This house SHALL be named Shalom House and it’s doing great since we opened it in _____ of last year. More than ___ people are visiting Shalom House for prayers and Bible study daily. We also wanted here to thank some believers from Africa who are willingly paying for the rents. With our respect, we thank Rav Nate with his Board who monthly pay for the electric bills.
Currently, Adat HaTikvat has __ Churches (congregation) in _____, __ in _____ and other places. FMM has established congregations at least at each country of Africa. I will show you in another email where they are located in Africa with pictures very soon
Brothers and sisters, pray for Shalom House in Africa to continue blessing the lives of people. Currently, pray for the practical needs like office supplies (printer/copy paper, binders, computer, etc.), office furniture, office space – we need two large rooms that can be enough for receiving people.
Shalom House of Africa depends on God to care for every need. It gives out freely teachings to help people grow spiritually. We ask you, brothers and sisters, if the Holy Spirit will speak to your heart. You are free to support us whatever and however you will be led for the sake of His Kingdom. There are out here millions of souls who are dying every minute without hearing the Good news of Yeshua Messiah.

A couple of clarifying notes –
1) On our website, Adat HaTikvat Tzion congregation is often referred to in an abbreviated form – here in Omaha, we say “Adat” and in Africa, it’s “AHTZ.” Just so our newcomers aren’t unnecessarily confused, they are one and the same, much like we know that our Lord Yeshua is often called Jesus or other similar names in other languages.
2) If any of our readers want to help with the financial needs of our overseas FMM family, checks can be made payable to FMM or to Adat with an FMM reference on the note section and then mailed to the Adat address. Rav Nate and John will see that the funds are sent to where they’re needed most.
3) We’re also in process of gathering information about needs for the Shalom House – teaching materials, worship music, etc. so that our overseas brothers and sisters can utilize and enjoy a lending library (which should be very beneficial for those with limited internet access). If you feel led to help in this area, email us with what you would like to contribute and once we have a distribution system worked out, we’ll let you know more details about how to get what you have to where it’s needed.
Now, with continued gratefulness for each of you, my extended family, and an overwhelming gratitude to the Lord for allowing us to be a part of all this, here is the February Family News.

FROM AFRICA: Dad… It is Wednesday, 5th at 1:45 AM as I am writing this short email. I and the people of Africa, we truly pray, respect and love you so much with the love of Messiah. We want to thank you so much for your love for us also and your all efforts to bless the ministry work here in Africa. We feel happy seeing people repenting on their own sins with tears and others called believers turning from false teachings that leads one to hell, and following Yeshua.
Dad, do you know that we were right when we said to have an office at the center of _____. Right now It serves as a store for our teaching materials, and helps to meet spiritual needs from people daily. About __ – __ people are visiting and signing our visitors book at FMM/ADAT HATIKVAT TZION Office here in _____. This is so amazing unto my eyes! FROM AFRICA: Dear John my brother, Hope this finds you well. The speed for distribution work is high. Our Follow me ministry office stores material waiting for distribution and stopped the storage problem at our _____. I thank _____ who noticed this and when shared this need with you, you didn’t hesitate to help. This young man has a lot to do in _____. He takes his time to talk with people and he started personal work house to house sharing the good news of Jesus. However, closing the roads of _____ by foot, It is so hard. So It takes him many hours to reach another person. As we said earlier, we are planning and praying to purchase for him a Used _____ at $_____. FROM AFRICA: Dear Dad, I understand very well that the purpose of printing the booklets is to share the Good news of Messiah with millions of people who do not use the Internet. People around the world appreciates this little booklets more than you might think. I wanted you to know that I am not Interested at this time with their vision of buying Vehicle that _____ and others are looking money to buy while millions of people are missing what we print here. Please know that our weekly printing work, is not even enough as per the daily request from all over the world through our _____. . Brother _____, _____, _____ and others knows about this. However, are doing a good job and without them nothing good would have happened. I am praying to talk to them about the urgent need of supporting the printing cost.
I am doing so good in our new office here in _____. I wanted you to keep praying for this precious children that God brought into our lives. I left the _____ to help them. But still _____, prays to find somebody somewhere to help feed them together. I am currently staying far from them and this children are now under her care. She calls me all the day about the problem of getting food for them. We have already used all our resources feeding and providing education, health for them. We cannot forget to thank you very much for all you have done to help their lives. We appreciate your support to them. If you can remember, you provided medicines for the __ children who are HIV/AIDS Negative and were deadly sick. This children are doing well right now and praising God for you. Truly, we all depend on God to provide next.

Then, last week I returned home to _____ with renewed and restored heart, mind, spirit and soul. It’s interesting how God directs us in our lives. Moreover, I was on your site and my life was more inspired by Nancy posts: Goodness showers us with blessings in life (James 1:17), provides for us all the good things in life (Matthew 7:11) and takes the bad things in our lives and somehow turns them around for good (Romans 8:28). FROM ASIA: Hi John, It is extremely difficult to find a church to go for worship in my area. But I was encouraged to see and read a believers booklet called The Portal in the Wilderness and The Serpents Lie and The Fall, spreading the good news of the word of God to the world. However, God calls believers to “Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone” (Mark 16:15).
