Greetings, dear ones,
My name is Nancy Lorimer. I’m a fellow FMM disciple and will more fully introduce myself to you in later posts.
We have a wonderfully gifted brother here in Omaha who does all the behind the scenes technical website stuff – he and I help John with the Follow Me web content and communications.
We’ve begun a new website enhancement process which is in its infancy. Therefore, we ask for your patience as you weather some growing pains along with us. It may be a little bumpy at first; nevertheless, we believe what we’re planning for this website will enhance the unfolding and understanding of God’s amazing, perfect Blood Covenant Truth and Faithfulness that are at work in our midst.
From the beginning FMM’s vision and character has been family-centered (not church or organization-centered) which is evidenced by the fact that John and Mary are fondly known around the world as, ‘Dad and Mum’. We’re geographically located in Omaha, Nebraska, USA; but the rest of our family is scattered around the world. With this in mind, we’re creating a page called “Letters from Home,” because it made sense to give this page a ‘from us to you’ flavor.
Our next project will be to build a second new page called “Family News.” I Thessalonians 5:18 (‘therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.’) was the inspiration for this. It’ll be designed to enable our worldwide family members to communicate with the rest of us. But because some of us live in regions where the proclamation of faith in Yeshua can mean a death sentence, anything posted on this page will be carefully scrubbed to remove any identifying details. Even though we need to build the safety net of anonymity, we definitely want to enable the family to share reports of the awesome evidence that God keeps giving to let us know He is indeed very active in our midst.
I am delighted to be included in fulfilling the heart of Psalm 34:3 — “O Magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt His Name together.” I’ll have much more to share with you in the days to come. In the meantime, be blessed today in Him, as He continues to show Himself strong on your behalf.
