Isaiah 55:6-11
“Seek the Lord while He may be found; call upon Him while He is near. Let the wicked forsake his way and the unrighteous man his thoughts; and let him return to the Lord, and He will have compassion on him, and to our God, for He will abundantly pardon.
“For My thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways My ways,” declares the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways and My thoughts than your thoughts. For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return there without watering the earth and making it bear and sprout, and furnishing seed to the sower and bread to the eater; so will My Word be which goes forth from My mouth; It will not return to Me empty, without accomplishing what I desire, and without succeeding in the matter for which I sent it!” (Emphasis added.)
So beloved, isn’t our Heavenly Father revealing that only He can know the enormity and complexity of His own infinite Mind? Isn’t He telling us that only He knows what is in His mind and heart and purposes? Isn’t He letting us know that… unless He makes it possible for us to do it… there’s nothing we can do, in and of ourselves, to gain access to His wavelength and frequency?
Yes, He’s telling us, clearly and unmistakably, that there’s only one way we can become one with Almighty God’s mind and heart and purposes. And that Way is not a thing… it is an uncreated Person! It is the Living Word of Almighty God Himself! He is the only Way!
Do You Hunger For Truth?
John 14:1-6
“Yes, Father, for this way was well-pleasing in Your sight. All things have been handed over to Me by My Father; and no one knows the Son except the Father; nor does anyone know the Father except the Son, and anyone to whom the Son wills to reveal Him. Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest.
“Do not let your heart be troubled; believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father’s house are many dwelling places; if it were not so, I would have told you; for I go to prepare a place for you. If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself, that where I am, there you may be also. And you know the way where I am going.” Thomas said to Him, “Lord, we do not know where You are going, how do we know the way?” Jesus said to him, “I AM THE WAY, and the TRUTH, and the LIFE; NO ONE COMES TO THE FATHER BUT THROUGH ME! (Emphasis added.)
Do you hunger to know Ultimate Truth and be able to get in touch with Ultimate Reality? Do you truly desire to know the one true, Living God? If you do… pay attention: Father is revealing the Way, the only Way, by which we can connect with His Personal Frequency. You must become one with His Son! All of God’s Infinite Fullness is contained in, and given to, us through a Person… through the Person of God’s Living Word… Messiah Yeshua! So, the only way we can have access to the Almighty Living God, and to connect personally with Him, is to become wholehearted in our personal response to God’s Living and written Word Yeshua, by the Power of God’s Holy Spirit.
John 8:12
“Then Jesus again spoke to them, saying, “I AM the Light of the world; he who follows Me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the Light of Life.” (Emphasis added.)
Our wholehearted submission to God’s Word and to His wholehearted initiatives on our behalf creates personal union and direct personal communication between us. This is another way of saying that we’re compatible with God’s Living Word, and His revelations, commandments and promises… when we agree and submit to God’s terms! Our wholehearted obedient receptivity to His Son, the Living Word, is the essential characteristic of God’s special, chosen priestly people in the Torah. The Word revealed Himself to them in a variety of ways. And He revealed Himself to the New Covenant disciples, as Rabbi Yeshua of Nazareth. So there were many forms by which God revealed His one and only Son, the Living Word.
And this Living Word who was made flesh, is the one we Last Days disciples are required to embody during the Last Days Fulfillment Era. Everything that God revealed, commanded and promised to Israel in the Torah in the past… is about to be completely fulfilled in our Last Days Era!
Deuteronomy 5:5-10
“You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might. These words, which I am commanding you today, shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your sons and shall talk of them when you sit in your house and when you walk by the way and when you lie down and when you rise up. You shall bind them as a sign on your hand and they shall be as frontals on your forehead. You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.”
A Wholehearted People
When Yeshua is free to be what He is, and do what He does, in us and through us… then beloved, we are the wholehearted, authentic embodiment of the same Spirit-empowered Life that our Messiah lived while He was on Earth. This is what is being revealed in the Scriptures about how God will fully transform and restore the fallen human race by the end of our Exodus process. The commandments God gave to Israel to pass along to the rest of the human race were revealing God’s Perfect Standards of Righteousness and Truth to us. And, because they were given in a commandment format, they tell us what God requires of all humans who are to be His image and likeness. But in addition to that, the commandments are a prophetic revelation of what God’s Living Word will be and do when He appears on Earth as one of us, serving as our Covenant Representative and Champion.
So not only does God’s Living Word reveal God’s commandments… but He is here to fulfill them to Perfection… for us… but also… in us and through us. God is telling us that His New Covenant Remnant of Israel, both Jews and non-Jews alike, when their Messiah lives and works from within them, will join Him in serving as living proof, actual tangible living demonstrations of what God’s New Covenant was always intended to do. And this is how God will fully restore and fulfill the entire human race! God was revealing this from the very beginning, when He expressed His ways and His requirements to the children of Israel through the Covenant of Sinai. He revealed to them what He required of all human beings… but, whether they realized it at the time or not, God was also revealing what their still to come Messiah was going to be and do in our midst, for our sake. He is, and always will be, the only one in whom all of this can be – and actually has been – fulfilled. God has done it. And He can now reveal the Truth of His Finished Work of Redemption to the world… through the yielded flesh of His Messiah’s disciples! The Authority of His Word, and the Power of His Holy Spirit will do all of this!
Therefore, God requires us to become a people that are just as wholeheartedly sincere and perfect as He is! And Yeshua is The Way in whom and by whom this is going to be done. Because of the way our Perfect God is, there can be no internal reservations, no holding anything back, no double-mindedness in those who will serve as His image and likeness. And so, at the end of this Journey, when we have been fulfilled completely… our lives will be a perfect mirror image representation of the perfect Human Life Yeshua lived when He was among us. He rendered wholehearted, 100% obedience, devotion and faithfulness to His Father while He lived among us. He was the revelation of what the Spirit-filled, Human Image and Likeness of our Perfect God naturally is and does! Yeshua demonstrated that to us in human terms, during His days on Earth. He was the prophetic revelation of what God was in the process of doing with all the rest of us who will allow Yeshua to represent them and rule over them. First, He lived the perfect human life in our name and in our place while we were bankrupt and incapable. But after the restoration process is complete, He will render perfect service and devotion to His Heavenly Father, in our name, as our Blood Covenant Representative, Head and Life… from within us! So we will be His Eternal Perfect Embodiment in the Presence and in the sight of, Almighty God.
So now that this wholehearted obedience and service have been given to God in our name, and since it has been totally accepted by the Father, Yeshua’s Resurrection and the elevation to the Highest Place in Heaven of this Perfect Man, God is letting us know that there’s nothing is left to stand between us and our Creator! Yeshua has made us to be one with God, in a corporate, blood covenant sense. Even though, at this point, we’re still in the process of being fulfilled, we are nevertheless assured that the Fullness of what Yeshua is to us, is already ours! And so, by the Holy Spirit’s impartation, when we receive Yeshua’s indwelling Presence… we receive and embody the same Perfect New Covenant obedience that Yeshua rendered… through the Power of the indwelling Holy Spirit who has been given to us for that very purpose!
Living His Perfect Life Through Us
So, even now, because we are one with Yeshua, we no longer need to search for alternatives. We need not consider other ways by which to navigate and determine the direction of our future. When we give ourselves wholeheartedly to Yeshua, our future course and ultimate Destiny are already determined and settled. After that, whatever we may do in the future is only to be done by, in, and from the Perfect Humanity of Yeshua. As soon as we give ourselves to Him and make way for Him to continue to live His Perfect Life in us and through us, we are completely complete! And so the Holy Spirit lives and works in us to prove to all of Creation that this is so and that God’s Word is absolutely True and Credible.
Because we are equipped to embody Yeshua’s Resurrection Presence, we can give living testimony that proves that we’re actually one with God’s Living Word. And now, since Yeshua is one with His Father, through Him, we have a direct connection to Father’s mind, will, and eternal plan and purpose.
Matthew 11:25-30
“Heaven is My throne and the earth is My footstool. Where then is a house you could build for Me? And where is a place that I may rest? For My hand made all these things, thus all these things came into being,” declares the Lord. But to this one I will look, to him who is humble and contrite of spirit, and who trembles at My Word!” (Isaiah 66:1-2 Emphasis added.)
“… Jesus said, “I praise You, Father, Lord of Heaven and Earth, that You have hidden these things from the wise and intelligent and have revealed them to infants. Yes, Father, for this way was well pleasing in Your sight. All things have been handed over to Me by My Father; and no one knows the Son except the Father; nor does anyone know the Father except the Son, and anyone to whom the Son wills to reveal Him.
“Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.” (Matthew 11:25-30)
So can you see the kind of focus and devotion and obedient expectation Father requires us to place upon His Son? We’re intended to be His image and likeness! But we can only do that IF we willingly, wholeheartedly surrender ourselves and our entire future to His indwelling Presence and Authority. If we do that, He will equip and empower us to embrace, absorb, reflect and embody the very same viewpoint and attitude toward His Father that He Himself entertains! And, in that case, our union with our Perfect God will enable us to partake of and reflect His Perfection. Only in that way, will we be able to meet and satisfy God’s Perfect Standard of Righteousness! That’s why only God’s Word can be the Door through which we can enter God’s Throne Room and approach and be at home with His infinitely Transcendent Presence!
John 14:6-7
“Jesus said to him, “I am The Way, and The Truth, and The Life; no one comes to the Father but through Me! If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; from now on you know Him, and have seen Him.” (Emphasis added.)
Enjoying the Fullness of His Rest
So disciples of that caliber always abide in and enjoy the fullness of the Rest and total Joy and Contentment that flows out of the Eternal Perfection of their Messiah. They are the ones that are able to rejoice ALWAYS, in Him, and because of Him, without ever stopping! We can enjoy that endless Joy after we finally realize, and know with certainty, that in the Eternal Heavenly Realms, God has already done everything necessary to make it possible for Him to make us one with everything He is. This is because of the knowledge that the Work of God is Finished. Everything was done perfectly by His Living creative Word. And now, God’s Perfect Finished works of Creation and Redemption can be revealed in and through us. And Creation can be absolutely Perfect, Complete and fully Consummated, thanks to the Perfect Finished Work of God’s awesome Living Word.
Therefore, everything God has done is eternally FINISHED, and PERFECT, and PRESENT to us! There’s nothing left to stand between us and the benefits the New Covenant makes available to all. Now we can rest with God in the Fullness of His Eternal Sabbath Peace, knowing that there will never be any need for us to feel anxiety, dread or any kind of fear or sense of lack. God blesses His own and is ready to fill them with – EVERYTHING THAT HE IS!
That is why we can rejoice in the Lord AT ALL TIMES AND IN ALL CIRCUMSTANCES AND SITUATIONS! Do you see what this wholehearted acceptance of Yeshua enables us to do and enjoy? Despite what many other people still believe and assume, we no longer have to wait upon God to be or do anything more than what He already is and has done! We can welcome, embrace and enjoy His Absolute Fullness even now! He is our Daily Bread that gives Himself to us continuously… even as we still live in this space and time dimension. And thus we also know that what He is able to impart to us now, progressively in space and time, will be ours ENTIRELY once we enter His Eternal Dimension! We receive this Treasure in progressive stages because we live in time. So God imparts it to us at the moment when we actually need it. But in Eternal Reality… it is already fully present and available to us in its entirety.
He Held Nothing Back
So God has never held anything back from us. He gave all of Himself to us from all of Eternity. This was true from the very first moment of the existence of the created Universe! So we have no excuse to hold any part of ourselves from God. Nor do we have to wait for anything else to happen before we can enjoy our total oneness with Him. God has done and given everything we need. So, He is waiting for us to come to Him to receive the full benefit of that, as much of it as we wish to receive, just as we need it!
So the secret is not in trying to find ways to coax God to give more of Himself to us. The secret is in understanding the profound depths of the Wisdom of the Cross. The Cross, once we join our Master in His Death… strips away from us all of the Serpent’s lies and delusions and deceptive snares. It frees us from demonic Darkness and Delusion and our former bondage to Sin, and the Flesh and the legal hold that the powers of Darkness once held over us. God has brought us back into His Truth and Reality. And now we are able to give ourselves completely to God, as a result of knowing how truly Great and All Sufficient He and His Perfect Finished Works are!
When we can know God like that, we ‘see the Light’ and finally stop pulling away and distancing ourselves from Him. We no longer shrink back in doubt and fear and suspicion, doubting His Word and suspecting His motives… INSTEAD… we freely surrender ourselves to His care and let go of everything else. And then God rushes into our hearts… and our situations and circumstances and needs… like a Flood! And He fills us with His Perfect Covenant Love and Faithfulness. And He’ll deal with every one of our cares, concerns and needs, from the infinite Treasury of Grace that He is ready to transmit into this dimension from His Infinite Treasury in Eternity!
So, can you see what the problem was between God and his chosen people Israel, throughout the centuries of their sometimes stormy and heart-breaking relationship? What was lacking in most Israelites is what is lacking in the whole pagan world! They didn’t come to know Him as He really is! And because of that dismal ignorance, they could not trust Him and surrender to His initiatives on their behalf. And so their children who came after them paid the price of their unbelief.
All Resolution is in Yeshua
Joshua 2:8-10
“Then Joshua the son of Nun, the servant of the Lord, died at the age of one hundred and ten. And they buried him in the territory of his inheritance in Timnath-heres, in the hill country of Ephraim, north of Mount Gaash. All that generation also were gathered to their fathers; and there arose another generation after them who did not know the Lord, nor yet the work which He had done for Israel.”
Romans 12:1-3
“Therefore I urge you, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is Good and Acceptable and Perfect!
“For through the grace given to me I say to everyone among you not to think more highly of himself than he ought to think; but to think so as to have sound judgment, as God has allotted to each a measure of faith.”
People who know the Word as He truly is, know this for certain: Regardless of how things may look, sound and feel to their fallen, Sin-damaged, subjective perceptions and feelings… at any given moment in this temporary dimension of space and time, God’s Living Word never fails. The Truth concerning the perfect extent to which everything has already been handled and resolved by God in His Eternal Perfection, always stands. God and His Finished Works of Creation and Redemption are Perfect in every way, and on every level. So His Infinite Eternal Perfection never flutters or fluctuates. God’s Perfection is Eternally Present, Active, Stable, Reliable and we can rest in the certain knowledge that He has already given Himself to us! Now, it’s our move.
This lets us know that each present emergency and crisis and problem we will face now, here in time and space, already has its eternal resolution and perfect fulfillment in place. All of it is IN YESHUA… IN GOD’S LIVING WORD! All of that is contained in the Fullness of the Word… and the Word is waiting for us to come to Him to receive it from Him through the Holy Spirit. We need only come to God, in the Name of His Word… and then He will give of Himself to us. And we can have every confidence in His Perfect Presence and abide in the joy that comes from knowing that Yeshua Himself is the All-Sufficient, Perfect ‘Daily Bread’ that our Heavenly Father is feeding to us at all times. So now when anyone is still living in desperation and desolation and neediness… it’s due to their ignorance, their lack of knowledge and understanding of God and who He is and what He has already done for them. But because they do not know Him, they fail to turn to Him and learn to operate on His terms. It isn’t that He has turned His back on them; it’s that they continue to put our faith hope and trust in our false, self-devised, non-existent gods!
Deuteronomy 6:4-7
“Hear, O Israel! The Lord is our God, the Lord is one! You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might. And when you are praying, do not use meaningless repetition as the Gentiles do, for they suppose that they will be heard for their many words. So do not be like them; for your Father knows what you need before you ask Him! (Emphasis added.)

Beloved, we are intended and created to serve as our Father’s image and likeness! But Yeshua is the only one who, by His Perfect Nature, is truly qualified to do that! So if that Perfection is ever to be attributed to us, God’s Living Word MUST be free to abide and live and work from within our yielded, crucified flesh… so that He may impart to us what can only be received from Him! And it is for this interaction with our Messiah that we were called and commissioned to become one with Him. We’re being trained and equipped to live as one with Him, and to receive everything from Him! And once we’re well trained, we’re able to embody Him to whatever and whoever may happen to be around us! And He is free to please and obey His Father to Perfection, before their eyes… through our experiences and interactions and reactions to whatever is going on around us!
John 3:27
“John answered and said, “A man can receive nothing unless it has been given him from Heaven. You yourselves are my witnesses that I said, ‘I am not the Christ,’ but, ‘I have been sent ahead of Him.’ He who has the Bride is the Bridegroom; but the friend of the Bridegroom, who stands and hears him, rejoices greatly because of the Bridegroom’s voice. So this joy of mine has been made full. He must increase, but I must decrease! He who comes from above is above all; he who is of the earth is from the earth and speaks of the earth. He who comes from Heaven is above all. What He has seen and heard, of that He testifies; and no one receives His testimony.
“He who has received His testimony has set his seal to this, that God is true. For He whom God has sent speaks the words of God; for He gives the Spirit without measure. The Father loves the Son and has given all things into His hand. He who believes in the Son has Eternal Life; but he who does not obey the Son will not see Life, but the wrath of God abides on him.” (Emphasis added.)
So dear one, learn from and partake of the Eternal Well Being and Fullness of Almighty God! There is never a time when our Creator is taken aback or has cause to be upset, anxious or worried about anything! He abides eternally in His own Perfect Fullness! He does not have bad days or less than perfect ‘moods.’ There is no problem in existence that He would ever feel compelled to worry about or ‘wrestle with.’ He abides always and only in Perfect Eternal Triumph. In His Realm, everything is done and finished and Perfect. So, only Eternal Peace and Joy and Glorious Contentment abide in His Presence… forever! And you are now equipped to abide in His Presence so that His Presence can transform you into His image and likeness!
Therefore, we who are commissioned to serve as His human image and likeness are naturally required to reflect and embody His Word… to abide with Him in this Glorious New Covenant Realm… by Faith in His Revealed Truth. And when we do, we too will embody Yeshua’s Fullness and reflect His eternal Peace and Rest in God into this suffering, grieving, desperately needy world:
Colossians 3:1-4
“Therefore if you have been raised up with Christ, keep seeking the things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your mind on the things above, not on the things that are on earth. For you have died and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ, who is our life, is revealed, then you also will be revealed with Him in Glory!” (Emphasis added.)
Abiding In His Perfect Presence
Can you see it dear ones? Our ability to rest and rejoice ALWAYS must not depend on whether or not we happen to be experiencing good and favorable circumstances in this fallen world! Even the best of times and the highest stations and most fulfilling moments that this world is able to give are as fleeting and temporary as mist. And the same is true of the worst experiences we will ever encounter. Even when earthly conditions are at their very worst… and even when our senses show us nothing but darkness and desperate, seemingly hopeless outlooks… we can still abide in the Perfect Presence of our God and abide with Him in the Highest Realms… with our resurrected Lord and Master… BY THE GIFT OF FAITH THAT WILL SUPPLY US WITH TOTAL REASSURANCE AND TRIUMPH… THANKS TO OUR SPIRIT-GIVEN ABILITY TO ABIDE IN OUR GOD’S ETERNAL PERFECTION.
Father has already revealed to us in His written Word that we can afford to believe, accept and rest upon His Eternal Fullness and Well Being… at all times… and even now! But the Fullness and the Eternal Peace we’re commissioned to reflect and embody within ourselves cannot be found in this fallen world’s dimension of time and space. Nothing that is created can duplicate or supply us with this! The Fullness and Perfection we are to embody can only come to us from our Eternal God’s Perfect Nature and Infinitely Authoritative Word, and Holy Spirit-imparted indwelling Presence! His Supreme, Infinite Fullness and Perfection can only come when we know Him according to what He has already revealed to us about Himself through His Living and written Word! This is how our Messiah and Redeemer has made it possible for us to abide in Eternity with God… regardless of our current, innate earthly limitations, and regardless of any other created consideration that may or may not be taking place throughout the various lower realms of God’s Creation! Even while we travel through the temporalities and mist-like issues and priorities of this fallen world, we can enjoy the Fullness of Eternity that God is to us within our heart of hearts!
Ephesians 1:3-10
“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we would be holy and blameless before Him. In love He predestined us to adoption as sons through Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the kind intention of His will, to the praise of the glory of His grace, which He freely bestowed on us in the Beloved.
“In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of His grace, which He lavished on us. In all Wisdom and Insight He made known to us the mystery of His will, according to His kind intention which He purposed in Him with a view to an administration suitable to the Fullness of the times, that is, the summing up of all things in Christ, things in the heavens and things on the earth…” (Emphasis added.)
Our ability to abide with God in His Eternal Fullness… despite what does and does not seem to be happening here on Earth… is a supernatural gift that only comes to us from God Himself! It comes only when we give all of ourselves to our Master… then we can experience what we need from the ever-present Reality that He has given all of Himself to us! Then, we’re truly connected to Him, on His terms, and can receive His Fullness from Him, by Almighty God’s Heavenly Eternal Wavelength Frequency!
For us to have and maintain this awesome access to God’s heart, we must be trained to renew and update our brains and minds so that we can begin to live by undivided, wholehearted faith In God’s Perfection… and not by our earthly sight or touch or natural perceptions or feelings. We must be trained to know and rest upon God’s revealed Truth… that comes to us through and from His Word. So we must be mentally and emotionally and neurologically equipped to rest and rely upon God’s Word… and to depend on His Perfect, changeless Nature and the All-Sufficient Grace that is already entirely ours, thanks to the Perfection and Fullness of His Finished Work!
Leviticus 22:20-22
Whatever has a defect, you shall not offer, for it will not be accepted for you. When a man offers a sacrifice of peace offerings to the Lord to fulfill a special vow or for a freewill offering, of the herd or of the flock, it must be perfect to be accepted; there shall be no defect in it! Those that are blind or fractured or maimed or having a running sore or eczema or scabs, you shall not offer to the Lord, nor make of them an offering by fire on the altar to the Lord. (Emphasis added.)
Leviticus 19:19
“You are to keep My statutes. You shall not breed together two kinds of your cattle; you shall not sow your field with two kinds of seed, nor wear a garment upon you of two kinds of material mixed together.”
Isaiah 26:2-4
“Open the gates, that the righteous nation may enter, the one that remains faithful. The steadfast of mind You will keep in PERFECTPeace, because he trusts in You (as You really are). Trust in the Lord (as He really is)forever, for in God the Lord, we have an Everlasting Rock! (Emphasis added.)
Exodus 33:13-14
Now therefore, I pray You, if I have found favor in Your sight, let me know Your ways that I may know You, so that I may find favor in Your sight. Consider too, that this nation is Your people.” And He said, “My Presence shall go with you, and I will give you REST!” (Emphasis added.)
The supernatural ability to transcend our natural level of perceiving and feeling in this world that true faith in God gives us also gives us access to the ability to abide in Yeshua’s wholehearted trust in God. And He is what gives us access to that wonderful Spirit-imparted Wavelength Frequency through which God connects us to His Eternal Truth and Reality and Rest. A good example of this is contained in the following text that tells us about a time when Israel was being attacked by a coalition of enemy invaders. Jehoshaphat, the king of Israel at that time, did not have the ability to repel such a vast host. He simply did not know what to do. Nevertheless… he did have the Wisdom given to him by the Holy Spirit to turn to God… in faith… faith in God’s Word… faith in the awesome Revelation and Promises that God had given to Israel through His Living and written Word. And so, Israel’s king and his people were able to connect with God’s Eternal Perfection… and Perfect Peace, Rest and Joy:
2 Chronicles 20:5-13
“Then Jehoshaphat stood in the assembly of Judah and Jerusalem, in the house of the Lord before the new court, and (reflecting back to God what God had revealed to Israel through His Word) he said, “O Lord, the God of our fathers, are You not God in the heavens? And are You not Ruler over all the kingdoms of the nations? Power and Might are in Your hand so that no one can stand against You. Did You not, O our God, drive out the inhabitants of this land before Your people Israel and give it to the descendants of Abraham Your friend forever? They have lived in it, and have built You a sanctuary there for Your name, saying, ‘Should evil come upon us, the sword, or judgment, or pestilence, or famine, we will stand before this house and before You (for Your Name is in this house) and cry to You in our distress, and You will hear and deliver us.’ Now behold, the sons of Ammon and Moab and Mount Seir, whom You did not let Israel invade when they came out of the land of Egypt (they turned aside from them and did not destroy them), see how they are rewarding us by coming to drive us out from Your possession which You have given us as an inheritance.
“O our God, will You not judge them? For we are powerless before this great multitude who are coming against us; nor do we know what to do, BUT OUR EYES ARE ON YOU!” All Judah was standing before the Lord, with their infants, their wives and their children.” (Emphasis added.)
God’s Word, Supernatural Provision
To all appearances presented by their fallen physical and mental faculties and perceptions, Israel seemed to be utterly doomed. There was no natural, physical way open for them by which to escape certain death. But nevertheless, thanks to their God-given faith in God’s Word, the beleaguered Israelites remained firmly, supernaturally, connected to Almighty God’s Perfection… through His Perfect Word. And, through His Word… God supernaturally gave them exactly what they needed at that critical time. He fed them the ‘Daily Bread’ that, from all of Eternity, He had already prepared for them to receive at that precise moment in the dimension of space and time. It had always been there, waiting for them to come to Him to receive it, since before the foundation of the world! And so they came to God to receive it… and He gave it to them… exactly as promised.
And when the Holy Spirit transmitted what was True in God’s Eternal Realm, what God had already provided for them, in time and space, it was right on time! It came into the hearts and minds of those prophetic Israelites that had God-given access to His Wavelength Frequency. And through their prophetic gifts, they encouraged, strengthened and reinforced the resolve of the frightened brethren that were around them.
2 Chronicles 20:15-24
“Then in the midst of the assembly the Spirit of the Lord came upon Jahaziel the son of Zechariah, the son of Benaiah, the son of Jeiel, the son of Mattaniah, the Levite of the sons of Asaph; and he said, “Listen, all Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem and King Jehoshaphat: thus says the Lord to you, ‘Do not fear or be dismayed because of this great multitude, for the battle is not yours but God’s.
“Tomorrow go down against them. Behold, they will come up by the ascent of Ziz, and you will find them at the end of the valley in front of the wilderness of Jeruel. You need not fight in this battle; station yourselves, stand and see the salvation of the Lord on your behalf, O Judah and Jerusalem.’ Do not fear or be dismayed; tomorrow go out to face them, for the Lord is with you.”
“Jehoshaphat bowed his head with his face to the ground, and all Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem fell down before the Lord, worshiping the Lord. The Levites, from the sons of the Kohathites and of the sons of the Korahites, stood up to praise the Lord God of Israel, with a very loud voice.
They rose early in the morning and went out to the wilderness of Tekoa; and when they went out, Jehoshaphat stood and said, “Listen to me, O Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem, put your trust in the Lord your God and you will be established. Put your trust in His prophets and succeed.” When he had consulted with the people, he appointed those who sang to the Lord and those who praised Him in holy attire, as they went out before the army and said, “Give thanks to the Lord, for His Lovingkindness is everlasting.”
“WHEN THEY BEGAN SINGING AND PRAISING, the Lord set ambushes against the sons of Ammon, Moab and Mount Seir, who had come against Judah; so they were routed. For the sons of Ammon and Moab rose up against the inhabitants of Mount Seir destroying them completely; and when they had finished with the inhabitants of Seir, they helped to destroy one another.
When Judah came to the lookout of the wilderness, they looked toward the multitude, and behold, they were corpses lying on the ground, and no one had escaped. When Jehoshaphat and his people came to take their spoil, they found much among them, including goods, garments and valuable things which they took for themselves, more than they could carry. And they were three days taking the spoil because there was so much.”
Seek the Lord While He May Be Found
Now beloved, in light of what you have just read in God’s written Word, concerning the All-Sufficiency of His Perfect Living Word… coming into Israel’s earthly circumstances through the airtight faith of His people… ponder one more, at a deeper level, the text with which we began this article:
Isaiah 55:6-11
Seek the Lord while He may be found; call upon Him while He is near. Let the wicked forsake his way and the unrighteous man his thoughts; and let him return to the Lord, and He will have compassion on him, and to our God, for He will abundantly pardon.
“For My thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways My ways,” declares the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways and My thoughts than your thoughts. For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return there without watering the earth and making it bear and sprout, and furnishing seed to the sower and bread to the eater; so will My Word be which goes forth from My mouth; It will not return to Me empty, without accomplishing what I desire, and without succeeding in the matter for which I sent it!” (Emphasis added.)
Beloved… do you see the crucial link that God is revealing to us in these texts? I mentioned before, the only way by which we can connect with His Personal Frequency… is to become perfectly compatible with His Living Word, ON HIS WORD’S TERMS! So when you encounter God’s written Word that reveals His Living Word… and when His Holy Spirit presents some part of it to you… give yourself to Him, and open your heart to His revealed initiatives, wholeheartedly, completely, WITHOUT ANY RESERVATION WHATSOEVER! Stop depending on cheap counterfeit substitutes that you devise for yourself from your fallen, Sin-corrupted imagination or self-adoring aspirations and desires.
You may not be able to adequately understand or hear or feel or define or describe what the terms of God’s Word entail… but it’s not about how brilliant and sharp your fallen intellect may or may not be. It’s about your heart and will… and whether or not you are willing to give all of yourself to your Eternally Perfect and All Sufficient Lord and Master and Redeemer. Entrust yourself to Him, the way infants entrust themselves to the arms of their mothers! Those infant/mother interactions are the way by which God’s Living Word comes to us and seeks to interact with us! They are the same terms by which Messiah Yeshua responded to His Heavenly Father when He walked the earth. Just as the Son interacts with the Father’s Spirit… so too must His disciples interact with the Father’s Spirit:
John 5:19
“Therefore Jesus answered and was saying to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, unless it is something He sees the Father doing; for whatever the Father does, these things the Son also does in like manner.”
John 5:30
“I can do nothing on My own initiative. As I hear, I judge; and My judgment is just, because I do not seek My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me.”
God’s Terms
Beloved, those are God’s terms. We must realize that if we want the Living Word of God to give us access to our Heavenly Father’s Wavelength Frequency… we must be willing and able to be perfectly compatible with those terms. We must become one with Yeshua and His never-ending Father-embodying, obedient purpose. We must realize and remember at all times, that He was sent to us ONLY FOR THIS PURPOSE: To fulfill His Father’s will and plans… TO PERFECTION… nothing more and nothing less!
If you and I are willing to embrace that revelation and allow the Word to live and act and abide within us, to obey His Father on this basis… He will gladly share with us the access that He always has to our Father’s heart and mind and will and purposes. And not only will He share it with us because of our acceptance and cooperation with His Agenda, He will be able to transmit His awesome supernatural Fruit through it… into time and space… into us… and through us… and for us… to His Father’s Eternal Glory and Praise!
John 15:1-2
“I am the True Vine, and My Father is the Vinedresser. Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit, He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit, He prunes it so that it may bear more fruit.”
Beloved do you see it? Do you see what the issue is between God and His Word’s disciples? This is what our Boot Camp training and ‘pruning’ are all about! God is pruning every speck of arrogant, stubborn, worldly, radically independent self-life out of us… so that we can know and have unhindered, unobstructed union with God and His Fullness forever! This is why we are being trained and disciplined and prepared to be as one with our Master. Everything that remains in us that deviates and is incompatible with Him and His Perfect Obedience to the will and Plan of the Heavenly Father who sent Him to us, must be crucified and removed… until all that remains in us is the Life and Love Activity of our Father’s Resurrected Word! Then we too can become what our Messiah called His true disciples… ‘The Light of the World!’
John 14:10-15
“Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father is in Me? The words that I say to you I do not speak on My own initiative, but the Father abiding in Me does His works. Believe Me that I am in the Father and the Father is in Me; otherwise believe because of the works themselves. Truly, truly, I say to you, he who believes in Me (and is one with My Father-obeying terms), the works that I do, he will do also; and greater works than these he will do; because I go to the Father. Whatever you ask in My Name, that will I do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask Me anything in My Name, I will do it. If you love Me, you will keep My commandments.” (Amplification and emphasis added.)
Being Restored To His Image
Dear one… this is how God plans to restore us to His image and likeness! This is how we’re being delivered from the horrendous disfiguring and lethal damage that the lies and deceptions of the Serpent inflicted on the entire human race! The Lord is restoring us to who and what we were truly designed and created to be! He is elevating us… bringing us up from the enormous depths to which the entire race has fallen… and raising us up… back to where we truly belong… back to being the image and likeness of Almighty God!
Matthew 5:14-20
“You are the (reflecting bearers of My) Light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden; nor does anyone light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on the lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your Light (that My indwelling Presence imparts to you) shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in Heaven!
“Do not think that I came to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I did not come to abolish but to fulfill! For truly I say to you, until Heaven and Earth pass away, not the smallest letter or stroke shall pass from the Law until all is accomplished. Whoever then annuls one of the least of these commandments, and teaches others to do the same, shall (refuse to accept Me on My terms, and he shall) be called least in the Kingdom of Heaven; but whoever keeps and teaches them (interacts with Me on My Father-obeying terms), he shall be called great in the Kingdom of Heaven. For I say to you that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the scribes and Pharisees (who refuse to recognize and accept Me on My terms), you will not enter the Kingdom of Heaven!” (Amplification added.)
Luke 6:46-49
“Why do you call Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ and do not do what I say? Everyone who comes to Me and hears My words and acts on them, I will show you whom he is like: he is like a man building a house, who dug deep and laid a foundation on The Rock; and when a flood occurred, the torrent burst against that house and could not shake it, because it had been well built.
“But the one who has heard and has not acted accordingly, is like a man who built a house on the ground without any foundation; and the torrent burst against it and immediately it collapsed, and the ruin of that house was great!” (Emphasis added.)
John 8:31-32
“So Jesus was saying to those Jews who had believed Him, “If you continue in My Word, then you are truly disciples of Mine; and you will know the Truth, and the Truth will make you free!” (Emphasis added.)
Beloved, if we are fully given to God’s Living and written Word, then we have no reservations or hesitations when it comes to resting, trusting, expecting and rejoicing in Him. That level of wholeheartedness gives us full access to our Heavenly Father’s Wavelength Frequency… so we can remain in constant touch with His Eternal Kingdom… and know how things really and truly are with God and in God. In His Realm… Everything is Finished… Done… Perfectly Complete and in its Proper Place! This is what the Word of God was revealing to us about His Perfect Finished Works of Creation and Redemption, in Genesis!
Genesis 2:1-3
“Thus the heavens and the earth were completed, and all their hosts. By the seventh day God completed His work, which He had done, and He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had done. Then God blessed the seventh day and sanctified it, because in it He rested from all His work which God had created and made.”
So Yeshua, God’s Perfect Living Word, was made to take on our flesh, and become one of us. And God sent Him to Earth, to live in our midst, so that He could reveal Himself… and share His Eternal Fullness with us. He revealed His terms to His New Covenant Israelite disciples… and through them… to the rest of the world. And He began to reveal the fact that He, God’s Living Word, in all of His Fullness and Perfection, is the Lord of God’s Eternal Sabbath. He has already done all of the necessary work. It is full, and complete and Perfect. And God has it waiting for us all in Eternity. Now, all we have to do is receive His Word, on His terms. Then, by abiding in Him, we can be connected to the Fullness of God’s Perfection… by becoming partakers in His Word’s Perfect Spirit-imparted Resurrection Life… and sharing in receiving credit for His Perfect Finished Work of Creation and Atonement and Redemption. This is how God will completely Restore the human race, and the beautiful Creation that He entrusted to their care.
Because the Work has been done to such Perfection and Complete Fullness… God’s Word has been sent to Earth… to lavishly give away the Fruit and all the Benefits of what He has done on behalf of this suffering, languishing, demon-possessed world. And He dispenses all of that… through the obedient faith of His New Covenant Israelite disciples! This is what He was teaching to His first century disciples, and demonstrated for them, in those early years. And this is what they finally learned to allow His risen indwelling Presence to continue to do, through them.
Matthew 8:5-13
“And when Jesus entered Capernaum, a centurion came to Him, imploring Him, and saying, “Lord, my servant is lying paralyzed at home, fearfully tormented.” Jesus said to him, “I will come and heal him.” But the centurion said, “Lord, I am not worthy for You to come under my roof, but just say the word, and my servant will be healed. For I also am a man under authority, with soldiers under me; and I say to this one, ‘Go!’ and he goes, and to another, ‘Come!’ and he comes, and to my slave, ‘Do this!’ and he does it.” Now when Jesus heard this, He marveled and said to those who were following, “Truly I say to you, I have not found such great faith with anyone in Israel. I say to you that many will come from east and west, and recline at the table with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob in the Kingdom of Heaven; but the sons of the Kingdom will be cast out into the outer darkness; in that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.” And Jesus said to the centurion, “Go; it shall be done for you as you have believed.” And the servant was healed that very moment!”
Through the faith of a Gentile Roman centurion, Yeshua drove these truths home to His Jewish disciples, showing them the difference between the imperfect perceptions and faith of most of His contemporary Jewish first century brethren, and the level of faith that He is endeavoring to instill into His own… to get them ready to demonstrate and display the New Covenant Fulfillment… to the rest of Israel… and to the entire Gentile world.
Luke 6:1-11
“Now it happened that He was passing through some grain fields on a Sabbath; and His disciples were picking the heads of grain, rubbing them in their hands, and eating the grain. But some of the Pharisees said, “Why do you do what is not lawful on the Sabbath?” And Jesus answering them said, “Have you not even read what David did when he was hungry, he and those who were with him, how he entered the house of God, and took and ate the consecrated bread which is not lawful for any to eat except the priests alone, and gave it to his companions?” And He was saying to them, “The Son of Man is Lord of the Sabbath!”
“On another Sabbath He entered the synagogue and was teaching; and there was a man there whose right hand was withered. The scribes and the Pharisees were watching Him closely to see if He healed on the Sabbath, so that they might find reason to accuse Him. But He knew what they were thinking, and He said to the man with the withered hand, “Get up and come forward!” And he got up and came forward. And Jesus said to them, “I ask you: is it lawful to do good or to do harm on the Sabbath, to save a life or to destroy it?” After looking around at them all, He said to him, “Stretch out your hand!” And he did so; and his hand was restored. But they themselves were filled with rage, and discussed together what they might do to Jesus.”
The following is what Peter was instructed and commissioned to proclaim to the Roman centurion Cornelius, and his entire household… and to demonstrate through them… to the rest of the world:
Acts 10:34-48
“Opening his mouth, Peter said: “I most certainly understand now that God is not one to show partiality, but in every nation the man who fears Him and does what is right is welcome to Him. The Word, which He sent to the sons of Israel, preaching Peace through Jesus Christ (He is Lord of all) – you yourselves know the thing, which took place throughout all Judea, starting from Galilee, after the baptism which John proclaimed. You know of Jesus of Nazareth, how God anointed Him with the Holy Spirit and with Power, and how He went about doing good and healing all, who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.
“We are witnesses of all the things He did both in the land of the Jews and in Jerusalem. They also put Him to death by hanging Him on a cross. GOD RAISED HIM UP ON THE THIRD DAY and granted that He become visible, not to all the people, but to witnesses who were chosen beforehand by God, that is, TO US WHO ATE AND DRANK WITH HIM AFTER HE ROSE FROM THE DEAD!
“And He ordered us to preach to the people, and solemnly to testify that this is the One who has been appointed by God as Judge of the living and the dead. Of Him all the prophets bear witness that through His name everyone who believes in Him receives forgiveness of sins.”
“While Peter was still speaking these words, the Holy Spirit fell upon all those who were listening to the message. All the circumcised (Jewish) believers who came with Peter were amazed, because the Gift of the Holy Spirit had been poured out on the Gentiles also. For they were hearing them speaking with tongues and exalting God. Then Peter answered, “Surely no one can refuse the water for these to be baptized who have received the Holy Spirit just as we did, can he?” And he ordered them to be baptized in the Name of Jesus Christ (Messiah Yeshua). Then they asked him to stay on for a few days.” (Amplification added.)
All Necessary Work Finished
Beloved, can you see the Beauty and Glory and Fullness of what God was now revealing to Israel and to all the rest of the world during this enormously important and strategic point of the New Covenant Revelation that He was entrusting to the disciples of Yeshua? He was proclaiming the Resurrection of Israel’s Messiah… because that was proof to the world that Everything has already been Done! All the necessary Work is Finished! Through Peter, the Holy Spirit was proclaiming that this is the Era of Fullness and Completion. He was telling these Gentiles through this New Covenant disciple of the risen Lord, that because God’s Living Word had done all of the necessary Work… all that remains now for God’s Chosen Jewish and non-Jewish People is to rejoice, celebrate, and share the Goodness and Glory and Abundance of Almighty God with everyone who might be in need of knowing Him and learning about His ways! This is the Treasure which the airtight faith that a disciple has in our Airtight God is able to usher into this fallen world!
This is what the Sadducees, including the high priest and the other unbelieving spiritual leaders of Israel among the Pharisees, Scribes and Essenes, had not yet been able to grasp. They were still stuck in the partial and incomplete perspectives and mindset of the Covenant of Sinai. They still had not been able to take in the Glory and Fullness of the New Covenant Era that God promised to initiate through Israel’s prophets, and that He had already sent His Word to launch and impart in the first century:
John 5:18-24
“For this reason therefore the Jews were seeking all the more to kill Him, because He not only was breaking the Sabbath, but also was calling God His own Father, making Himself equal with God. Therefore Jesus answered and was saying to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, unless it is something He sees the Father doing; for whatever the Father does, these things the Son also does in like manner.
“For the Father loves the Son, and shows Him all things that He Himself is doing; and the Father will show Him greater works than these, so that you will marvel. For just as the Father raises the dead and gives them life, even so the Son also gives Life to whom He wishes. For not even the Father judges anyone, but He has given all judgment to the Son, so that all will honor the Son even as they honor the Father. He who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent Him. Truly, truly, I say to you, he who hears My Word, and believes Him who sent Me, has Eternal Life, and does not come into Judgment, but has passed out of Death into Life!” (Emphasis added.)
Israel’s rejection of what He was sent to give to them grieved Yeshua’s heart in those days. And this is what He expressed to His disciples with these words, shortly before His crucifixion, death and Resurrection:
Matthew 23:37-39
“Jerusalem, Jerusalem, who kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to her! How often I wanted to gather your children together, the way a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, and you were unwilling. Behold, your house is being left to you desolate! For I say to you, from now on you will not see Me until you say, ‘Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!’”
He was continually warning His Israelite brethren (most of whom, even to this day, are still not able to recognize and accept Him) that there is a vast difference between God’s Sinai Covenant, the Covenant He made with them through Moses… and the New Covenant that God was so anxious to make with them through His Living Word made flesh, Yeshua of Nazareth.
John 5:33-47
“You have sent to John (The Immerser), and he has testified to the truth. But the testimony, which I receive, is not from man, but I say these things so that you may be saved. He was the lamp that was burning and was shining and you were willing to rejoice for a while in his light. But the testimony which I have is greater than the testimony of John; for the works which the Father has given Me to accomplish — the very works that I do — testify about Me, that the Father has sent Me. And the Father who sent Me, He has testified of Me.
“You have neither heard His voice at any time nor seen His form. You do not have His word abiding in you, for you do not believe Him whom He sent. You search the Scriptures because you think that in them you have eternal life; it is these that testify about Me; and you are unwilling to come to Me so that you may have life. I do not receive glory from men; but I know you, that you do not have the love of God in yourselves. I have come in My Father’s name, and you do not receive Me; if another comes in his own name, you will receive him. How can you believe, when you receive glory from one another and you do not seek the glory that is from the one and only God?
“Do not think that I will accuse you before the Father; the one who accuses you is Moses, in whom you have set your hope. For if you believed Moses (through whom My Father gave you His written Word), you would believe Me (for I am His Living Word that revealed Himself to Moses), for he wrote about Me. But if you do not believe his writings, how will you believe My Words?” (Amplification and emphasis added.)
But although the human race continues to exhibit and demonstrate its spiritual bankruptcy and the fact that Death is always at work within it… nevertheless, God has already done everything necessary to bring the dead into His Eternal Life. So Yeshua continues to search and call out for everyone and anyone who will hear His voice… and come running into His arms. And they will be the ones that He will impart to and connect with… Almighty God’s unique, Personal, ‘Wavelength Frequency’!
