The bible tells us to follow Jesus Christ (Yeshua Messiah) into all days of our lives and depend on Him because He is the good Shepherd ;leading us into the future. As you are aware, One of our greatest fears in life is the future. Why? Because we just don’t know what’s going to happen tomorrow. So, some people spend so much time worrying tomorrow, they never enjoy today.
But you don’t have to fear the future. We have a Good Shepherd leading us into the future. What we have to do is to follow Him daily. In the book of Psalms 23:6 – we read, Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever. Here are two strong points to learn that are watching and protecting us from the rear.. Goodness and Mercy.
Goodness showers us with blessings in life (James 1:17), provides for us all the good things in life (Matthew 7:11) and takes the bad things in our lives and somehow turns them around for good (Romans 8:28).
Mercy redeems and forgives all our sin (Ephesians 1:7-8), picks us up when we fall and puts us back on our feet again (Psalm 40:1-3) strengthens us when we are weak (II Corinthians 12:9). and lifts us up when we are discouraged (Joshua 1:9). Therefore, Trust the Good Shepherd and His two instructions (Good and Mercy) for leading you all the way to your final destination.
