The word of God is truth. What is truth? If you go into the world, “truth” changes from culture to culture. Different countries have different truths that they live by. Even within my country, ask someone what the truth is and it will vary from person to person.
There is only one constant truth in this universe that does not change with time, perspective or culture; His name is The Lord Jesus Christ (Yeshua Messiah). Yeshua (Jesus) is the universal truth that every person, no matter who you are or where you have come from, can cling onto for eternity.
Therefore, the truth of knowing Yeshua helps to chase out the sin in our lives so we are able to be closer to the King of Kings. There’s one thing that’s inevitable for you and me to remember, and it doesn’t take much convincing – one day our lives will end. Whether someone is a business man or woman, a teacher, a doctor, a famous athlete, a stay-at-home mom, or even a high school student, there is a day in which this life on earth will be no more. Money can’t save us from it, neither can wishing or hoping or denial. But the one we believe didn’t just die for our sins, but rose from the dead! Yeshua defeated death in His resurrection! This means that, yes, our earthly bodies may have their last day… but they shall be resurrected with our Lord and we will step into the promise of Everlasting life with Him through all eternity! Yes, dear ones – seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near. (Isaiah 55:6)
