The good news is that Jesus (Yeshua) knows what we are going through. He said in the book of John chapter 6 number 33 …In me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. God knows that this race course of life will be full of obstacles. He ran this same obstacle course of life.
His heart was broken by sin and faithlessness in those he loved. He knew pain in the body and pain in his heart but he was not ready on quit running the race. Yeshua was the perfect finisher of the race. God has laid out a race course for each of us. And wants us to run with perseverance and to throw off those things that hinder us from finishing the race, Throw off sins in your life, keep your eyes on Jesus and endure that trouble so that perseverance may mold you. Never give up!
Some quit from important things of life such as quit their job and later start complaining about God, quit their marriages, quit from raising the children and others run from the Lord. God knows that we have a tendency to give up when we are faced with troubles and trials. But His word encourages us to keep running with perseverance, meaning DO NOT GIVE UP!
