Christians have so much to rejoice in! When we consider what Jesus Christ has accomplished for us, cleansed and renewed us through the born-again and Holy Spirit baptism experiences, and given us a hope that goes well beyond the years we are here on this earth and into all eternity, we can rejoice and be exceeding glad for all that the Lord has done for us!
We have a Message that changes lives for the better and does away with the power of sin that tries to keep us down and bound. And we need to be sharing that Message with those we come in contact with, so that they, too, can be born-again and filled with God’s Holy Spirit!
No other religion or philosophy offers what Jesus Christ does! They will all finish up in hopelessness and despair in an eternity separated from the love and reality of Jesus Christ. People who do not know God through Jesus Christ are “without hope” ~ they have nothing to look forwards to (Ephesians 2).
That should challenge every born-again believer to be actively involved in the spreading of the Gospel by whatever ways God enables us. He has entrusted us to convey and preach His message to the ends of the earth. In fact, Jesus will not return until every nation has heard the Gospel (Matthew 24:14).
Right now the task is unfinished and we have much to do to fulfill the Great Commission of Jesus.
