24. The Heart of Abraham’s Pattern

Let the wicked forsake his way and the unrighteous man his thoughts; and let him return to the LORD, and He will have compassion on him, and to our God, for He will abundantly pardon. ‘For My thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways My ways,’ declares the LORD. ‘For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways and My thoughts than your thoughts…’” (Isaiah 55:7-9 Emphasis added.)

God has revealed to us that His nature is utterly transcendent, that is, absolutely beyond our ability to imagine, deduce, infer or comprehend. An infinite gap separates His uncreated form of being and acting from our created forms. So He warns us that His thoughts and ways are also utterly beyond our natural ways of thinking and imagining. That’s why He must communicate with us and reveal Himself in terms we can understand and to which we can relate. And He has done that in a variety of ways.

“God, after He spoke long ago to the fathers in the prophets in many portions and in many ways, in these last days has spoken to us in His Son, whom He appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the world…He is the radiance of His glory and the exact representation of His nature, and upholds all things by the word of His power.” (Hebrews 1:1-3 Emphasis added.)

Scripture is a gift from God, written in the words of men, through which He reveals His living Word. Through Him, God gives us a working understanding of His infinite nature and works. God uses a pattern structure He has revealed that will serve as the template He will use in dealing with us all. The template helps us understand God’s greatness and glory and lets us know what to expect from Him at all times. It is the template we call: ‘The Eternal Blood Covenant.’

“Now the God of peace, who brought up from the dead the great Shepherd of the sheep through the Blood of the Eternal Covenant, even Jesus our Lord, equip you in every good thing to do His will, working in us that which is pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be the glory forever and ever. Amen.” (Heb. 13:20-21 Emphasis added.)

The covenant pattern shows how our infinitely perfect God is able to deal with grossly imperfect, Sin-blasted humans…and still be able to ‘cover all the bases’ of being true to His perfect, changeless nature and end up with an infinitely perfect, triumphant set of eternal results. The only way it could happen is through God’s Blood Covenant Reality. So it’s vital for us to see and understand the Bible as God’s official Blood Covenant Document. It reveals God to be a Covenant-making and Covenant-keeping God. It reveals His perfect love-nature and perfect standards of righteousness and perfect justice, integrity, mercy and faithfulness all at the same time. It also lets us know that we will be judged at the end of our lives on this Earth according to His Covenant pattern.

If we rightly understand this from the beginning of our faith walk, we’ll get off on the right foot and be able to understand all that follows with authentic Biblical accuracy and precision. Asher Intrater shared some thoughts in one of his ministry newsletters that give us good insight into the importance of making a good start. He wrote:

“If one buttons up a shirt and starts with the correct button, then all the others will end up in the right place. If one starts with the incorrect button, in the end, all the buttons will be in the wrong place. If we do not see physical creation as good, then we will interpret the end of the Bible as un-creating what God created. If we do have the first chapter or “button” correct, then we understand the end of the Bible as a restoration of all things (Acts 3:21), a regeneration (Matthew 19:28), a resurrection of nature (Romans 8:21), and a renewal of the ‘heavens and earth’ as in Noah’s days (2 Peter 3:5-13)…”

So if we do not have an accurate, precise, authentic understanding of what God reveals in Genesis, particularly the first eleven chapters, our lives will resemble a badly prepared attempt to send a rocket from Earth to a precise destination in outer space. If there is an error of even one degree in the coordinates programmed into the rocket at the start, after blast-off…the rocket will speed further and further off course. In time, it will be light years away from the true destination. So, as with buttoning a shirt, we must make sure that our Biblical understanding begins with the right first ‘button,’ or all the other ‘buttons’ and the entire ‘shirt,’ will be misaligned.

Because God uses the Blood Covenant Pattern, we must understand that in His dealings with us, everything must, and will be done, through His living Word. If we understand that from the beginning, then when His living Word becomes flesh and appears in our midst as ‘Rabbi Yeshua of Nazareth,’ we’ll have a clear, accurate understanding of who He is and what He’s doing and how it works. We’ll see how vast the scope of His eternal significance is and how perfectly God is able to ‘cross all of the T’s, dot all of the I’s’, so that He can make good on all of our human failures and deficiencies, and justly, legally, rightfully and comprehensively…save us from ourselves.

God deals with us through His Blood Covenant Pattern because this best reveals and explains the absolute perfection of His nature, character and integrity in terms that we can grasp. Because God’s nature is perfect, everything He does must be perfect. His Creation must end up complete and perfect at every level. The way He cares for each of His creatures must be perfect and comprehensive. He must meet all their needs perfectly. Nothing can be left undone or pending or imperfect in any way. Because God is perfect in every way and on every level, no creature will ever be able to accuse Him of wrong doing.

But because we human creatures are so limited and imperfect by nature and because we have been corrupted by Sin thanks to Adam’s fall, God must have a way that can perfectly, legally bridge the gap between Him and us so that He can meet our needs perfectly. His perfect wisdom, creativity, justice and integrity must be fulfilled. Therefore, since everything must end up perfectly, our perfect God must be the one that does everything for us…as one of us! Only in that covenantal, representational way can we meet God’s perfect standards perfectly when the time for our final Judgement arrives. This is why the Blood Covenant is so important for us to understand and follow.

Blood Covenants Transform the Many into – One

Blood covenants and the unique reality they create, are legal mechanisms in which everything is done for the participants through designated representatives. The two representatives stand for all the other participants. Through what the representatives do, the many are blended and merged into one new corporate unit. Former strangers and enemies can thus be transformed into one mutually loyal family that shares everything in common.

Obviously the blood covenant reality creates a tremendous reality-shift in the life of each new participant. And after the fact, the mind and heart of each participant must be radically renewed, reprogrammed and rewired in order to completely update and realign them with the reality the covenant has created. Every participant must undergo a corresponding paradigm and attitude-shift so their future lives can re-align and match and synchronize and harmonize with each other accordingly. Then they’ll be able to fulfill their new responsibilities and enjoy the privileges and benefits that the covenant makes possible.

All this is dramatized and acted out during the typical blood covenant ceremony. In the Middle Eastern matrix out of which the Bible, the Hebrew people and our Messiah emerged, the following elements are usually found in ‘covenant cutting’ ceremonies:

  • Animals are sacrificed. The lives of the animals symbolize the lives of the covenant participants. They are giving their lives to and for each other. The blood shed and loss of life also remind each participant of the automatic death penalty that any violator of the covenant instantly incurs.
  • The representatives exchange written promises which bind them and those they represent, to honor and fulfill perpetually, what has been written.
  • The representatives exchange gifts: 1) A representative piece of clothing that symbolizes that all the goods and assets of each group are being pledged to those in the other group. 2) The representatives give their belts to each other (with weapons attached). This symbolizes perpetual mutual defense. By their alliance they pledge their corporate loyalty and strength to each other. They will unconditionally reinforce and come to the defense of their covenant friends whenever the need arises in the future.
  • The representatives shed blood by cutting their hands or wrists and mingling their two bloods to signify that from now on they and those they represent share the same life and the same blood.
  • The representatives and witnesses share a meal, usually consisting of bread and wine. By sharing the same loaf and cup, they signify that the life in the food and drink is in each of them. So from now on, they share the same life, the same blood, the same identity and purposes and interests and destiny from now on.

The Blood Covenant’s Perfect Provision

The covenant pattern is an excellent way of showing that God does everything through His living Word. When God deals with humans, His Word acts as His Representative at all times. God says and does everything through Him. No man can see or comprehend our awesome transcendent living God. But He does reveal Himself and can connect with us through His living Word. In order for everything to be done properly so that it is perfect according to God’s perfect nature, God Himself must do the necessary work. Only He can fulfill His perfect nature, standards and commandments to perfection. And that is what He does, by and through His infinitely perfect living Word.

The Word represents God as ‘The Son of God.’ And to cover our human sinfulness and weakness and inability to meet God’s perfect standards, God’s living Word must also represent us. Because He and the Father are one, the Word of God is perfect. But to be able to serve as our Covenant Representative, He had to take on our human nature. So He became one of us and is able to represent us as ‘The Son of Man.’ So the Word of God does everything, both on the part of God, and on the part of the human race. There is no other way for us to pass God’s infinitely perfect standards perfectly. Our eternal salvation depends on our ability to meet God’s perfect standards with perfect righteousness, diligence, accuracy and obedience. And since that is impossible for us to do personally, God’s Word renders the perfect fulfillment of our part of the Covenant for us, as our Blood Covenant Representative before God. He dealt with God in our name and has done everything necessary on our behalf. So according to the covenant mentality and viewpoint, whatever our representative has done…we have done. And it is perfect and has been approved and accepted by God!

“For indeed we have had good news preached to us, just as they also; but the Word they heard did not profit them, because it was not united by faith in those who heard. For we who have believed enter that rest, just as He has said, ‘AS I SWORE IN MY WRATH, THEY SHALL NOT ENTER MY REST,’ although His works were finished from the foundation of the world. For He has said somewhere concerning the seventh day: “AND GOD RESTED ON THE SEVENTH DAY FROM ALL HIS WORKS…” (Hebrews 4:2-4)

This is why we can’t afford to see and think and act, react and interact from a selfish, self-centered paradigm. Almighty God is our Covenant Friend, and we are His. That makes us to be – ONE.

“Therefore if you have been raised up with Christ, keep seeking the things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your mind on the things above, not on the things that are on earth. For you have died (to your former radical independence) and your life is hidden with Christ IN God.” (Colossians 3:1-3 Amplification and emphasis added.)

Our salvation and well being depend on how precisely and accurately we align with our Representative (God’s living and written Word) and how fully we depend on Him and look to Him to be and do whatever is required of us since He has already done all the necessary work, in our name. We must have the right viewpoint and understanding to remain in the proper position to receive and benefit from the rewards of His perfect representative performance on our behalf. He is our only Hope and Salvation. And because of God’s perfect nature, it is through our Representative that God must deal with us, to make sure everything is covered and fulfilled to perfection, in our name. And so He has already done it…to Perfection!

So God’s Eternal Blood Covenant is the means by which God deals with us imperfect people and still is able to fulfill to perfection all of His perfect standards. Although it is impossible for us to do it for ourselves, God has done it through His living Word, in our name. This is why our souls must be prepared to know what is going on and what is required and what the Covenant requires of God and of us. And it is why we must learn to identify with our Representative as much as He has already identified with us. And as His disciples, we are commissioned to demonstrate this awesome relationship in our lives, so that it can shine like a bright beacon of salvation light on behalf of all the still-decapitated people of the world…for Adam’s sake…and for our Covenant God’s sake.

God revealed that His Blood Covenant is eternal. So it was already in effect before time and space physical Creation took place in Genesis 1. In eternity past, since there was no one else in existence with whom God could make a covenant, He made His Covenant with Himself. He swore by and through His own Word, that it would be honored and fulfilled on God’s part and on Man’s part, to perfection. And after that, God created. So before Creation even takes place, thanks to that Eternal Covenant, everything is already done by God to Perfection. And that is what Adam and Eve were born into.

So now we know that God, by nature, is a covenant-making and covenant-keeping God. He deals with Creation through His eternal Covenant which is executed to perfection in, by and through, His living Word. And so the Bible is a legal Blood Covenant document that reveals God’s nature and stipulates the Covenant terms by which God will deal with the Sin-damaged human race, to redeem, regenerate and restore it. God will fulfill His Covenant to perfection, regardless of what the Serpent may try to do, or what damage he may inflict on the human race. In the end, we will see everything perfectly restored and brought to the level of perfection God intended, ordained and promised from all eternity. What God ordained in eternity past will be perfectly fulfilled in eternity future. The Eternal Covenant requires this Perfection and so God, by the infinite authority of His living Word and infinite power of His Holy Spirit, fulfills it to Perfection, through His Word who represents both God and Man.

Because God’s Covenant Faithfulness (chesed in Hebrew; and agape in Greek) honors the eternal Covenant eternally, we can afford to abide in airtight, changeless, everlasting faith, trust and confidence in God. We can realize that we need nothing else but our one true God. We can see that not only is there no need for any other god or gods, but that no other gods exist, except in the deluded imaginations and belief systems of decapitated human beings. Our Salvation from eternal Death is God’s living Word and Him alone. He is the only Way to God. That is why we must place 100% of our faith, hope, trust and expectancy upon Him, and 0% on anything else.

“I am God Almighty; walk before Me, and be blameless. I will establish My covenant between Me and you, and I will multiply you exceedingly.” (Genesis 17:1b-2)

“See, I have taught you statutes and judgments just as the LORD my God commanded me, that you should do thus in the land where you are entering to possess it. So keep and do them, for that is your wisdom and your understanding in the sight of the peoples who will hear all these statutes and say, ‘Surely this great nation is a wise and understanding people.’ For what great nation is there that has a god so near to it as is the LORD our God whenever we call on Him? Or what great nation is there that has statutes and judgments as righteous as this whole Law which I am setting before you today? Only give heed to yourself and keep your soul diligently, so that you do not forget the things which your eyes have seen and they do not depart from your heart all the days of your life; but make them known to your sons and your grandsons.” (Deuteronomy 4:5-9)

So the blood covenant pattern teaches us about God’s eternal Love-nature and His eternal chesed, or Covenant Faithfulness. It lets us know what to expect from God at all times as He interacts with us. He will never change. He is always the same so His Covenant stands forever. There is no other way by which we can properly respond to God. There is no other way by which we can be saved and restored to being the corresponding human image of God’s Word. This is why it is so important that we understand God’s Blood Covenant and how it works.

The blood covenant pattern enables us to understand the significance of God’s Perfect Creation…through His Perfect Word…and the Perfect Original Blessing that God’s Word was sent to bestow on the first two humans and their offspring. It also enables us to properly assess the damage the Serpent did to God’s original Creation in Genesis 3, and the response to it that God makes after the human race was so grossly damaged, disfigured and mortally wounded. The Serpent destroyed our ability to be God’s image and likeness when he deceived Adam and Eve into separating themselves from God’s living Word. Remember that there is an automatic death penalty for violating a blood covenant bond. And since the First Adam was our original parent, he was also our blood covenant representative before God in time and space. So when he sinned and incurred the death penalty, so did we, for he represented us and we were IN him.

The Fall and Its Aftermath

That is the first part of the tragic story of mankind’s fall. At that point, Creation was horribly derailed, and the human race, as a corporate entity, found itself on ‘death row’ with no hope of being able to save itself. The Serpent had gained total dominance over the Earth and the creatures upon it, since the First Adam surrendered his God-given authority over God’s earthly Creation to the Serpent. After the Serpent usurped Adam’s authority and rule, he established his kingdom of Darkness on the Earth and began to use everything on it for his own evil, Anti-God purposes.

But then it was God’s turn to respond. He had to make His Blood Covenant response to what the Serpent had done. He was in Covenant with Himself concerning His Creation. His human Blood Covenant friends had been attacked and were now in desperate need of His eternal Covenant loyalty. Because His Covenant nature has been so often misunderstood, God has been grossly maligned by the Serpent and much of the fallen human race has been deceived and misled. As long as that continues, the Serpent can keep his coils tightly wound around those who remain in spiritual Darkness…to their eternal peril. And if they will continue to mistrust God, pulling away from His Word, disbelieving His revelation and disobeying His Life-protecting commands, they will remain decapitated and spiritually dead and deprived of their only hope of Salvation.

“…even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, in whose case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving so that they might not see the Light of the Gospel of the Glory of Christ, who is the Image of God. For we do not preach ourselves but Christ Jesus as Lord, and ourselves as your bond-servants for Jesus’ sake.” (2 Corinthians 4:3-5 emphasis added.)

God Makes His Move

God had made a covenant to cover all the needs of every level of His beautiful Creation. He had sworn by Himself that His perfect nature would be revealed and glorified in everything He would do with each of His creatures. In that sense, God had ‘given His tunic and belt’ to the First Adam and his household and the portion of Creation that Adam ruled over and represented. But the Serpent ruined all of that when he deceived the first humans into violating their Covenant with God. However, he made an enormous blunder by harming God’s Covenant friends. By harming them he forced God to make a Blood Covenant response. God was committed to serve as their eternal Blood Covenant Friend. He was obligated to come to their defense and do whatever was necessary to fight to defend, protect and rescue and restore them, even though they had violated the Covenant! He was committed to do this even if it cost Him everything…even His own life! God’s Covenant Loyalty is unconditional. Even if we violated it; He will never change. He is PERFECT!

And since God does everything through the living Word that reveals God to us, in ways we can understand, the Word came after the man and the woman…not to punish and destroy them, but to cover and redeem and rescue and restore them according to the eternal Blood Covenant promises God had made to Himself and to His Creation. So, acting in this capacity, God’s Word, as The Son of God, made these promises to the Serpent, in His Father’s Name:

“…I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed (the decapitated human race) and her seed (the humans that come back under His Headship); He (the Seed of the woman) shall bruise you on the head, and you shall bruise him on the heel.” (Genesis 3:15)

So the war that the Serpent had declared against God and His Word spread from the heavenly realms, and did its damage on the earth. The Serpent attacked God’s eternal Blood Covenant friends, Eve, Adam and the human race. And God, for the sake of His Covenant friends, came to their defense, ready to do whatever the infinitely powerful and perfect God of all Creation would have to do, to defend, restore and meet their needs perfectly, according to His perfect nature and flawless standards. Genesis reveals God’s Blood Covenant response in these few revelation-packed words:

“They heard the sound of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and the man and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God among the trees of the garden. Then the LORD God called to the man, and said to him, ‘Where are you?’ (Genesis 3:8-9)

“The LORD God made garments of skin for Adam and his wife, and clothed them.” (Genesis 3:21)

We might amplify this last verse like this:

“The LORD God made garments of skin (from slain covenant animals that represented the sacrifice He was going to be) for Adam and his wife, and (with that Blood Covenant pledge, He) clothed them.” (Genesis 3:21 Emphasis and amplification added.)

This is God’s eternal Covenant heart in action. This is the way His perfect, eternal nature always is and always does. This is His perpetual attitude and intent toward us. Genesis wants to make this clear. So…despite the wickedness and unrepentant hearts of people like Cain and all those unrepentant humans from which God had to cleanse the earth through the flood, and despite the fact that God had to disperse and weaken the arrogant unrepentant humans at Babel, God does not change. His mind is eternally set to love mankind and to rescue and redeem them totally and perfectly. And with this in mind, He sent His living Word, the Son of God, the Last Adam…to Adam and Eve…to Noah…to Abraham…to Isaac and Jacob and so on. He is here to continue to fulfill His Father’s Covenant pledges to the human race…through Abraham and his family and eventually through Israel…for Adam and Eve’s sakebut ultimately…for the sake of God’s own Name!

“Therefore say to the house of Israel, ‘Thus says the Lord GOD, ‘It is not for your sake, O house of Israel, that I am about to act, but for My holy Name, which you have profaned among the nations (Gentiles) where you went. I will vindicate the holiness of My great Name which has been profaned among the nations, which you have profaned in their midst. Then the nations will know that I am the LORD,’ declares the Lord GOD, ‘when I prove Myself holy among you in their sight. For I will take you from the nations, gather you from all the lands and bring you into your own land. Then I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you will be clean; I will cleanse you from all your filthiness and from all your idols. Moreover, I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; and I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will be careful to observe My ordinances.” (Ezekiel 36:22-27 Amplification and emphasis added.)

The Unstoppable Covenant

God keeps bringing His eternal Covenant with Creation and the human race, forward. He brought it forward to reveal it to Adam…and to Abraham and his family. And through Abraham and his family and Israel, He continues to bring it forward to its eventual fulfillment throughout the human race and its history. He continues to confirm, validate and bring the Covenant forward and re-establish and honor the eternal Blood Bond He has always had with the human race…to the very end of time where it will be completely and perfectly fulfilled. That’s what He was revealing to Abraham when He said:

“I am God Almighty; walk before Me, and be blameless. I will establish My covenant between Me and you, and I will multiply you exceedingly.” (Genesis 17:1b-2)

And this is why He inspired Jeremiah to say to faithless, rebellious Israel, the Covenant-violating descendants of Abraham:

“Thus says the LORD, Who gives the sun for light by day and the fixed order of the moon and the stars for light by night, Who stirs up the sea so that its waves roar; The LORD of Hosts is His name: If this fixed order departs from before Me,’ declares the LORD, ‘then the offspring of Israel also will cease from being a nation before Me forever.’

“Thus says the LORD, ‘If the heavens above can be measured and the foundations of the earth searched out below, then I will also cast off all the offspring of Israel for all that they have done,’ declares the LORD.” (Jeremiah 31:35-37)

With these terse pronouncements, God reminds us of His eternal, unchanging Blood Covenant Faithfulness to His entire Creation. And Scripture continues to reveal the unfolding of God’s Blood Covenant rescue mission revelation. Nothing, not the powers of Darkness and not even our own Sin-twisted human free will and failure to keep our end of the Covenant, can or will deter our infinitely Perfect God from fulfilling His perfect eternal Covenant promises, perfectly. That is the ‘Rock’ on which the true faith is built.

When the Serpent deceived God’s precious humans and dragged them into Sin and they violated their Covenant with God, they incurred the automatic death penalty. And so that Covenant violation and the damage it did to God’s beloved humans unleashed a passionate, Covenant response from God that continues to this day. He came against the Serpent and the powers of Darkness with the fury of a mother bear defending her cubs. He will fulfill the promises He had made to Himself and His human Covenant friends. He sealed His promises by the Blood of the Lamb of God even before the foundation of the earth. Yes…the Serpent made a huge blunder. When he came against the humans…he came against His own infinite, Almighty Creator and put himself in the path of God’s Covenant Wrath!

The Serpent had declared war on God and His Word before the creation account in Genesis. Darkness already existed and damage had already been done to God’s heavenly angelic creation. But then, Genesis reveals that the Serpent began to assault God’s human creation. By his lies, the Serpent ensnared and captivated God’s first two humans. Sin mortally wounded their nature and greatly damaged their faculties and genetic makeup. That damage was passed on to each child of Adam in the form of a ‘genetic defect virus’ that gives our nature a certain rebellious twist. It appears as a strong desire to reject God’s Word and to remain independent of Him. It keeps pulling us away from our Creator and the only Redeemer that can save us. It drives us to be self-serving, rebellious, manipulative, predatory and self-destructive. It deprives us of the ability to serve as God’s image and likeness. Now, in our decapitated state, we can no longer reflect our Head’s Light and Truth into our world. So, thanks to the Serpent, we’re spiritually blind and deaf and forced to grope in demonic Darkness.

God’s Airtight Answer to the Serpent’s Damage

But God wants us to know that when the Serpent did his damage, God had already answered his challenge in eternity past. So now He sent His Word into time and space to search out Adam and Eve, and cover them and rescue and restore them. It was impossible for them to do anything about their terminal condition. But God had already done it through His Word. Had he not, there would have been no hope for us. This is where God’s Blood Covenant Pattern begins to shine forth in the midst of our Darkness. He has ventured into Death itself…to come after us and rescue us and bring us back to share in His own eternal Resurrection Life.

So now we can see God’s heart and true eternal intent. He loves us with an everlasting Blood Covenant Love. He will never fail or forsake us. He never acts out of a need for revenge. He is not out to punish or destroy us. When we understand blood covenants and the meaning of the blood covenant ceremony, we see what God’s written Word is saying and what we can expect from God’s perfect nature and perfect living Word, through whom God reveals Himself and through whom He does everything that pertains to us.

Because everything in a blood covenant is done through representatives, we begin to see the unique significance of the First Adam that God created out of dust in Genesis 1, and the significance of the Last Adam that God immediately sent from eternity to come to the rescue of the human race. When we understand this, we can understand what God was doing when He sent His Word to connect with Abraham and his family and Israel. We can see the significance of Israel’s Messiah and His apostles, and our own significance as the living Word’s modern day disciples.

Once a blood covenant union is created, the participants abide in corporate unity. The covenant ‘kills’ their former separateness, individualism and enmity. They die to whatever existed before they entered the Covenant. Now everything about them, starting with their identity and future lifestyle, must change to align with and reflect the Covenant Reality and its permanence.

This is how God deals with our radically independent, Sin-spawned self-life. The death-inflicting demonic lies that have led so many humans to eternal ruin must be exposed, challenged and recognized for the demonic deceptions they truly are. We must exchange the lies we believed for the Truth and Reality coordinates that God’s Son is here to be for us. He is the eternal Antidote for the Serpent’s venom and He is the Light that overwhelms demonic Darkness. And He is here to pierce, penetrate and impregnate all human beings, with His Truth and Light and Life…through our obedient, Covenant-keeping faith.

“Now then, if you will indeed obey My voice and keep My covenant, then you shall be My own possession among all the peoples, for all the earth is Mine; and you shall be to Me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation.’ These are the words that you shall speak to the sons of Israel.” (Exodus 19:5-6 Emphasis added.)
