Family News – January 2014

Dear Ones,

I never tire of reading our incoming emails! Each one of you treasured brothers and sisters have such a unique and beautiful faith, and each of you have clearly met our Blessed Redeemer in such a personal and profound way, that as I read your words of worship, I am drawn deeper into worship right along with you. And I sense our Father’s great pleasure in our corporate willingness to follow His Living Word and to walk in faith, believing that what He says, He will do whether we can see or understand, or not.

We here in the pilot group at ‘home base’ continue to always remember you in prayer and to ask our God to meet all your needs just as He promised in Philippians 4, according to His riches in glory in Christ. It’s especially exciting thinking that we may actually meet some of you face to face here on earth, rather than waiting till we’ve entered eternity and are sitting at the feet of our Beloved Bridegroom. But whether that happens or not, one thing is certain – He has knit us together in an unbreakable bond of friendship and fellowship that will stand the test of time, no matter what we may experience in life.

I’d like to invite your prayers for us too – our faithful webmaster, Mac, has recently spent a lot of time and effort to cure the web hosting issue that kept our site unavailable for a while. He works tirelessly behind the scenes for FMM and Adat and several other sites that make Biblical Truth available around the world. Please hold this dear brother before the Throne of God, and release unto him and his family the Kingdom’s richest blessing and provision for their every need.

In addition, we are feeling a real sense of urgency in regard to continuing and deepening the preparation of end times disciples for whatever lies ahead in time and space. We know from the Word that things get very difficult as the return of our King draws near and we know that unless people know – really KNOW – their God, they are not going to make it through. In that vein, we believe the Holy Spirit is beginning to open some additional aspects of FMM disciple training materials. Right now what’s simmering in my soul is adding two new topics in the Q&A section of Letters From Home. As you know, we have several posts having to do with Renewing Our Minds; what I’m contemplating is two new topical series – Restoring Our Hearts and Rebuilding Our Relationships. This is still very new and so it’s being held before the Lord for clarification. So we would really appreciate you joining us in asking the Holy Spirit to continue to flesh out the details of what He would like done, what it will look like, what it will contain.

Here’s a brief snippet of what launched this idea… I have several books in my library that I reread periodically because they encourage and challenge me. I’ve just finished again Peter Lord’s book, Turkeys & Eagles. It’s an allegory about two eaglets who fall from their nest and are adopted by turkeys who think these two are buzzard babies. So they’re taught and trained to give up buzzard life and become turkey-ized. And since they don’t know who or what they are, they do their best to be good turkeys. But while they’re scratching the ground and eating acorns, the inner urging of eagle life draws one of them to seek truth and become what he was created to be, soaring the heights in freedom. Unfortunately, the other stays stuck in turkeydom. And it reminded me again of how important it is that what Father has imparted into our heart of hearts as we follow Yeshua must be what compels us onward in our disciple journey of being who we are created to be – the image and likeness of the Living Word Himself. We dare not settle in turkey or buzzard life; instead we must believe and walk in (or soar in) the Truth:

May you be encouraged as you read this month’s news from the rest of the FMM family, and may you grow, just like Yeshua did, “in wisdom and stature and favor with God and men.” (Luke 2:52)

I never believed that this young man will be continue to be active in the ministry as he is now. If you will be able to met him, you can’t tell that he was the one. FROM AFRICA: Dear Dad,  Praise the Lord for what He is doing and is to accomplish among us today. The time of His son Yeshua the messiah return is getting closer and closer, yet we realized that the only blockade the Lord is facing today is the immaturity and incompleteness of His Body. FROM AFRICA: Dear Dad… How is Mum and everyone in the family doing today? I wanted to thank you, Rav Nate with his board and Adat HaTikvat Tzion congregation for your efforts to bless us in Africa. We are more than happy that Yeshua has Africa in your hearts. This is awesome working team in the precious kingdom of Yeshua! Allow me please for a minute to explain what I mean here, look at the life and ministry of Paul. One day he was in trouble until put in a basket. He had been preaching in Damascus when Aretas, the king, ordered his capture. He wanted to execute the great missionary. The houses in Damascus were constructed on top of the huge wall. Paul was in trouble and a small band of believers rushed to his aid. One ran and got a rope; another a basket. Someone tied the rope onto the basket. Really, this believers cooperated together and got the job done. Glory be to God that Adat HaTikvat Tzion congregation and Follow me ministries are holding the rope together. Messiah needs soldiers of the cross working with other soldiers in order to return the lost sinners and house of Israel back to their dear Yeshua Messiah who loved and died for them. Hallelujah!

I am wondering about the names of this disciples who helped Paul? We don’t know; they were not recorded in Scripture. They are mentioned again in Acts 9:25, but no names are given. They did not care about their names being recorded, to be noticed in future generations. They did what they did simply because they loved messiah and wanted to further the gospel. Actually, I believe that there is somebody somewhere who is doing/done something for Messiah that nobody knows about? Amen! Once again, thanks for the printing cost and electric bill funds that you sent to us. Everything It Is OK now! We all appreciate you forever!
